Meet Dr. Ashley Coulter
Dr. Ashley Coulter grew up in Southeast Michigan and attended Michigan State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in physiology and bioethics from the Lyman Briggs College. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine graduating cum laude from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston. She was elected a member of the Gamma Gamma Chapter of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, an honor awarded to the top 5 students of the graduating class.
Following her dental education she returned home to Michigan and completed a general practice residency at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, providing dental treatment for medically compromised and hospitalized patients as well as patients with special needs. Dr. Coulter then pursued her passion in endodontics in Chicago where she attended the University of Illinois, completed residency and received her Certificate in Endodontics. She has been specializing in root canal therapy in the Metro Detroit area for the past 5 years.
Dr. Coulter is a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association. She is board eligible and pursuing Diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Coulter and her husband, Nick, have a 3-year-old daughter, welcomed their baby boy in April 2022, and have two mischievous dogs, Audrey and Fran. Having spent many years training in Boston and Chicago, she is thankful to be home in Michigan with her family, and loves living nearby in Northville, enjoying everything the town and surrounding communities have to offer.
